I have a 1993 honda prelude. i have bought a new shift knob for it but am having trouble getting the knob off. Do i twist it or pull?|||you have to twist it...if that doesn%26#039;t work....remove plastic covering that goes from CD player to the hand cushion/box....after that flip the shift boot and it might have a bolt or nut|||It just twists off (Remember, Righty-tighty, Lefty-loosey).
From the factory they but red loctite on it, so it%26#039;s going to take quite a bit of elbow grease to get it off. And it has a lot of threading on it, so it%26#039;ll unscrew for quite a while :)!
