How to change a gear shift knob on a manual tranmission ona1999 dodge ram?

they just screw off and on,their real easy to get on and off,some may be real tight though to get off,good luck and have a good holiday season,|||It will screw off but I believe there is a removable plug in the center %26amp; on the top of the shift knob.
