How do I replace my automatic shift knob?

I have a 1995 honda civic DX and I wanna change out the factory shift knob and I have no idea how to do it. It%26#039;s an automatic, I%26#039;m not sure if I%26#039;m gonna get the style with the button on the top or the side. will that matter?|||my answer is try to check it out first on auto repair shop..|||best to just leave it...unless you can get one with thecorrect bit..
