Most shift knobs screw off but I need a shift knob that is compatible with the lift-shifter-to-go-into-reverse set up the Accent has. I have found plenty of places that have cool shift knobs but I don%26#039;t know if they will fit. Thank you for the help.|||Yes, you can install a different shifter knob but there is a trick.
You must install a thick spacer before you put the new knob, otherwise you will not be able to lift shifter for reverse. it will hit against it.
