how do i get my stock knob off? and if i buy a new one that has lights does that mean i will have to wire it to the lighter or just plug it in to the lighter? also, what tools will i need, and if i buy one will it come with all the necessary parts? PLEASE HELP!!
How do you change the shift knob in a 96 dodge neon?
Standard or automatic transmission?
EDIT: Lift up the boot cover and you will see two clips on the shifter knob connecting to two pins on the shifter itself. Pull those two clips apart and the knob lifts off.
