Can you change a shifter knob on a 1988 camero?

I have a 1988 chevy Camaro. Automatic. I want to change the Shifting knob. Can I do that?

Yeah i dont see why not you might have to make some customization but yeah.

On an automatic...maybe not. It would probably take a bit of work. Check a camaro web forum.
sure, there should be a set screw on it someplace or a c-clip that holds it on.
On the front of the shifter knob, there is a horizontal slot - apply the emergency brake, turn key to %26quot;on%26quot; (not starting it), and pull the shifter to the %26quot;1%26quot; position to see it. Inside the slot is a small clip - insert screwdriver and gently pry the clip out - then the knob pulls straight off. What it can be replaced with is up to you and your abilities, but it can be removed easily.
Yes ,definitely if I had a 1988 %26quot;camaro%26quot;.
